Biography

Steven M. Nofar, Esq., CPA, CM&AA is the founding partner of Nofar Law and has extensive experience in corporate transactional, estate and personal tax planning, business and real estate law, succession and asset protection planning, and representing individuals and businesses in all levels of tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and local taxing authorities.

In addition to managing Nofar Law, Steven is a founding and managing partner of Spartan Wealth Management, a full service financial service and private wealth management company with offices in Bingham Farms and Birmingham, Michigan. 

The combination of Steven’s legal and CPA technical knowledge together with his practical problem solving experience make Steven a sought-after advisor by clients as well as other attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors.

Steven accredits his work ethic and passion for entrepreneurial activity from his years of working in the grocery and party store business with his father and greatest mentor, Harry Nofar.    

During his career, Steven has lectured attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors on legal and tax matters at the Institute for Continued Legal Education (“ICLE”), Michigan Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA, formerly the MACPA), and at various other venues for a variety of organizations. 

Away from work, Steven enjoys spending time with his children, marital arts, riding vintage dirt bikes, and attending car events.
